Donika SCF

Donika is a 2011 Hanoverian mare by Elite Donavan out of Thoroughbred Astairtothemaster. She was Champion Hanoverian mare at her inspection and received wonderful compliments at a voluntary inspection with renown breeding expert, Christian Schacht, who encouraged us to transition Donika from part time riding to full time breeding, “Breed the best—this one stays pregnant”.

In 2022 produced her first foal by Diesel CF, a stunning bay filly named Diamond Affair LSE, who we are retaining for our program. Donika passed along her powerful movement and lovely uphill canter to her filly, resulting in Diamond winning her YHS Class with a final score of 8, in Quality of Gaits, she was awarded an 8.2—check out thier combined swag pile in the gallery.

Donika has had a light show career, but already boasts excellent scores at both First and Second Level. She has an excellent mind, and an truly endearing personality. She has excellent movement, with more than ample scope to her gaits.

Carefully developed with dressage in mind, Donika’s pedigree also boasts jumping talent. Her sire, the acclaimed Donavan, scored a 10 for canter, 9 for character, work ethic, rideability, jump and trot at his licensing test prior to his incredible sport career. Her dam, carrying excellent Thoroughbred sport blood, had careers in both dressage and eventing prior to becoming a broodmare.

Donika is currently in foal to the stunning E.H. Herzensdieb.
